Original Cottages
This leading UK holiday cottages brand is made up of local agencies with their own names and identities.
The leadership team invited me, as an independent consultant, to help the business transition to one brand family.
My ‘client side’ role was to advise on the approach, the pitch brief and process and then on the project brief and process. This combined my experience in design agencies (and what’s involved in pitching and project delivery) with my learnings from working in a client organisation.
The resulting strategic and creative work was by Superunion. They built a unifying idea and a thoughtful, layered design expressing truly local knowledge that’s underpinned by national scale and expertise.
Original Cottages has since been sold by the founding family.
The ideas and brand identity remain in use.
